Barbecue Sauce That Will Impress Your Date

So, you have reserved a date with that special someone and you are wondering if a barbecue dinner could possible be romantic enough for the occasion. Well, good news, you can actually impress your date with a barbecue sauce that is nothing short of gourmet.

You can start by marinating your meat the night before in a vinegar, pepper, and wine base in order to tenderize the dish. The following day start your barbecue sauce by mixing together a cup of tomato base, a few dashes of your favorite spices, a quarter of a cup of ketchup and a dash of chili powder in a sauce pan and simmer on low for about an hour.

Take your meat out to the grill and slow cook it on the grill on low heat, covered for as long as it takes to cook all the way through. Don't overcook you meat, though, this will burn out the flavors of your base marinade. Once meat is close to being done, brush on your barbecue sauce; cover the lid for about five to ten minutes, then serve.
