For all the people who have fond memories of their childhoods, very few things can bring back those memories more than the taste and smell of barbecue sauce. Christmas always has its own file stashed away in the file cabinet of our minds, and many remember their Halloween fun too, but things like Independence Days at the park eating grilled food and running around with your friends until the fireworks went off at night are just as special. So often we remember Thanksgiving so much for its general description more than isolated events. We remember mom's pumpkin pie or the great turkey, but it is because we have the same thing all at once every year, and just once a year.
