In the world today many things that used to be the man's domain has become integrated with a woman's touch or influence. Few things still remain dominated by men, but one of those places is the world of barbecue sauce. Yes, you will see an occasional woman in a grilling competition, but that world of charcoal and cooking meats over fire is still as manly as ever, and keeps us connected with our Neanderthal ancestors.

Much of this primal action relates back to the simple perspective of hunting a wild beast, cutting it up, and putting it on the fire. How many women do you know like to butcher an animal and then stand over a hot fire with smoke in their face while they throw down slabs of raw carcasses onto the flames? Men, on the other hand find this not only relaxing but also enjoyable! Adding the barbecue sauce to the meat only makes that experience that much more satisfying when the freshly butchered meat is ready to eat.
